Baby Shower的由來：
在菲律賓各式各樣的派對當中，Baby Shower當屬最溫馨可愛的一种。名為Baby Shower，卻不是給嬰兒沐浴，而是給準媽媽的一場“物浴”和“靈浴”：在嬰兒預產期的前一兩個月內，準媽媽的女性好友將準媽媽的女朋友們、女同事們、女親戚們召集起來，共同把祝福、忠告、禮物連同幽默灑向準媽媽，為的是幫助她做好物質和精神上的雙重準備。在這樣一個全然女性的喜慶世界裡，總是友情濃濃、脂粉氣香香、歡笑聲連連。

Baby Shower的由來已久，早在美國殖民地時代，婦女們就聚集在準媽媽的家中，一邊縫制嬰兒衣服、裁剪尿片，一邊傳授育兒經。在商品發達的今天，嬰兒用品應有盡有，凡想得到的都買得到。

今天大家都帶着精心選購的禮物來到派對的場所在竹北教堂三樓康樂廳內。

更多的禮物早已送到Aleta姊妹的家，即將出世的寶寶是個男孩，他有個很棒的中文名字：范博凱。

活動序幕：遊戲和食物

送禮物玩游戲 準媽媽心歡喜：
Aleta姐妹雖不是頭胎的準媽媽，但前2個孩子都上小學了，跟一般頭胎的媽媽一樣，需要比較多的嬰兒物資的照顧。

這次Baby Shower甚是隆重，姐妹們對這位懷第三胎的準媽媽都非常慷慨，送的禮物包括：嬰兒床、兒童推車、毛毯、包巾、小床用品、沐浴用品、尿片、濕紙巾、嬰兒衣物、玩具等等琳琅滿目的禮品。

而曦云從彰化三支會募得嬰兒汽車座椅，嬰兒毯，和許多嬰兒用品。

中台北支聯會松山支會募集嬰兒毛巾、毛毯、嬰兒帽.........。
新竹一支會的姐妹們提供了嬰兒包巾、吸奶器、拋棄式紗布巾兩盒 。

食物：發現忘記拍照的時候，只剩空盤子，留下小尷尬開心的笑容，表示食物很受歡迎！

竹北一支會的姐妹們聚在一起主要為幫助Aleta做好生產前的心理準備，也慶賀和聊天關心、聯絡姐妹情誼。

崇尚幽默的菲律賓人當然會趁機在派對上搞笑逗樂，其實也是為準媽媽洗“躁”。對於將為人母一職，準媽媽們哪個不是又喜悅又焦躁？派對上的遊戲給她們一個放鬆的機會。

遊戲：

Cindy要眾姐妹猜Aleta的腰圍。
Cindy準備了一綑毛線，姊妹們按照自己的目測，剪下毛線長度。
此時大腹便便的尺寸非但不是個秘密，還成了炫耀的資本。
眾姊妹們依序和Aleta姐妹的腰圍比對，找出最接近尺寸的人。

最後由曦云奪得冠軍，最接近Aleta姐妹的腰圍，述芬姐妹緊追在後，得到主辦單位準備的禮物，一一留下美好的回憶！

過來人給忠告和祝福即實用又得體

嬉笑中的姐妹們也不會忘記認真地給準媽媽一些忠告。
細心的主辦人Cindy給每位來賓一分鐘,每人向Aleta擁抱和表達祝福！
“相信你的丈夫，他比你想象的要能幹！”“別忘了給自己擠出點時間！”一聽就知道是過來人的經驗；

“你會是一位很棒的媽媽！”“需要人照看孩子嗎？隨時給我一個電話。”還有比這更暖人的話語嗎？

姐妹們關心Aleta生產時的照顧，並敲定到時候在line上約好一起探訪時間，比較不會造成產婦負擔。

這些溫暖的祝福和行動，不愧是給準媽媽的上好“靈浴”。

傳統的Baby Shower只有女性參加，弟兄們都耐心在門外等待!

但如今也有邀請準爸爸參加的，還有專門為準爸爸開的Shower，甚至還有為爺爺奶奶舉辦的Grandparents Shower，這些在當今的開放時代都不算稀奇了。

在Baby Shower上Aleta姊妹深受感動含淚的說：非常感謝姐妹們，我說ㄧ次感謝是不夠的，我由衷感謝大家！

在慈助會姊妹的Line群組上，Aleta姊妹不只一次地說出感謝再感謝的話語。

慈助會會長尤姊妹給Aleta姊妹的話:

這些其他支會送禮的的姐妹們，雖然妳不知道她們的名字，但在神的國度中，大家都希望妳能平安、勇敢、快樂的生下可愛的小寶寶！

神ㄧ直守護著妳(神守護著我們每一位，祂認識我們!)

，慈助會的姐妹們也一直都在妳身邊。(不只是我們支會的姊妹，包含全世界姊妹們!)

這些嬰兒用品的資源透過輔助組織的運作，教會成員可以在努力奉行福音原則時，獲得教導、鼓勵和支持。

慈助會會長尤姊妹感謝Aleta姊妹一直謙卑感恩的使用這些資源，Aleta姊妹的家庭也一直不間斷幫助著其他在台灣地區的菲律賓弟兄姐妹們！大家也非常感謝Aleta姊妹家庭在教會的付出和服務，感謝！

Baby Shower:

Among the various parties in the Philippines, Baby Shower is one of the most intimate and lovely one. Baby Shower, not for the baby to bathe, but for the mother to a be"showered" with gifts " and "spiritual shower". Activities at baby showers include gift-giving and playing themed games.Guests send blessings, advice, gifts, and humor to the expectant mother, in order to help her prepare for both material and spiritual. Mothers are usually given pampering treats.

Sister Aleta is not the expectant mothers of the first birth, however,her first two children are already in elementary school. We think she need material support just other expectant mother of the first birth.

We value the Baby Shower so much that Sisters are very generous to the expectant mother. Gifts related to babies include cribs, strollers, blankets, towels, cots, bath products, diapers, Wet wipes, baby clothes, toys, and more.

Sister Yu collected baby car seats, baby blankets, and many baby products from Chang Hua 3rd Ward.

East Taipei Stake Song Shan Ward collected baby towels, blankets, baby hats.

Hsin Chu 1^st Ward provided baby towel, breast pump and two boxes of disposable gauze towel.

Games

Sisters gathered together to help Aleta prepare for the childbirth and also to celebrate.

Filipinos who admire the sense of humor will of course take the opportunity to be funny at the party. Games also help the expectant mothers to relax.

Sister Cindy wants the Sisters to guess Aleta's waistline by preparing a bundle of wool, and Sisters cut the length of the yarn according to their own visual observation.

Then Sisters matched the waistline of the Sisters Aleta in order to find the person closest to the size. Finally, Sister Yu won the championship, the closest to the waistline of the sisters of Aleta, and Sisters Deng won the second place, both won the prizes prepared by the organizer,Cindy.

The attentive Cindy invited every guest to give Aleta a hug and to express their blessings!

Advices from Sisters:“believing in your husband, he can do more than you think!" "Don't forget to squeeze some time for yourself!" "You will be a great mom!" "Do you need someone to look after your child? Just give me a call at any time." No words can be more heart-warming!

Sisters are concerned about Aleta after her delivery so they are scheduled to visit Aleta. On the Baby Shower, Sister Aleta was deeply touched by tears and said “ Thank you very much! I said that thank you is not enough. I sincerely thank you all!” 

The words from Sister Yu, the president of Relif Society, to Sister Aleta:

Although you don’t know their names, Sisters in other Wards who gave the gifts to you hope that you give birth to the baby safe and sound. God will watch over you. We are always by your side, all of us!

The resources of these baby products are assisted by the operation of Auxiliaries, and members can be guided, encouraged and supported by striving to follow the Gospel principles.

Thanks to Sister Aleta who have been humble and grateful to use these resources, and her family has been helping other Filipino Brothers and Sisters in Taiwan incessantly. We are also very grateful to your family for the services to the church. Thank you!
